Contribution In Gratitude

I am grateful to receive a financial contribution from you, and in offering it, I know that you are grateful too. It has taken me some time to sift through a complicated relationship to money, and specifically to capitalism and the many layers within that. I am still sifting, and likely will be until I die. But thanks to some amazing humans who I see as teachers and mentors and thanks to my dedication to personal recovery and transformation, I have come to understand that financial exchange can be a form of sincere reciprocity. I have come to learn that my very presence and the way that I be in the world is a contribution to the community, and continually need to remind myself that that is true. You help me do that, and I am grateful.

You have taught me that what I offer in community is valuable and that you want to support my well being as I support yours. This mutual support can come in many forms, and one of those forms is a transfer of money. It can also be sharing skills and knowledge, trading services, showing up for each other, being available to beings we’ve never met before, leaving food or medicine on the doorstep of someone in need, offering love, prayers, and healing energy to anyone and everyone. You have taught me to value myself and to ask for what I need, while being able to see the difference between need and want. You have taught me how to trust that as I give to the community, the community will give to me. And that when I give with pure motivation, my needs will always be met.

This method does not incur any fees. I will receive the exact amount of money you give.

This method will not cost you anything, but I will incur payment processing fees. Though I will not receive the full amount you give, I am grateful to receive contributions this way.
